The Graduate Programming Coordinator in the LGBTQ Pride Center will work with staff and students to complete work that meets the mission of the center. Your job duties will include creating and implementing programs, events and training, assisting with social media management and outreach, fostering student engagement and volunteer/involvement opportunities, and organizing marketing, outreach and visibility efforts.   • Create and facilitate workshops/programs/events related to the LGBTQ+ community
  • Co-create & facilitate workshops/programs/events with the campus partners
  • Support the planning and coordination of signature events and annual initiatives (Pride Symposium, PrideFest, etc.)
  • Assist with the training and leadership development of LGBTQ Pride Center student leaders/organizations (Pride Leadership Council)
  • Develop and facilitate programming initiatives for undergrad and graduate students
  • Assist with leadership development, mentorship, and/or supervision of student employees, interns, and volunteers
  • Utilize campus systems and engagement platforms to support student engagement, event tracking, and communication
  • Assist with the assessment and evaluation of center workshops/programs/events
  • Assist with day-to-day center operations, including community space engagement and representation at campus events
  • Serve as an active and collaborative member of the Pride Center staff team

Stipend information: This position is offering a stipend of $21,000 for the academic year. You may choose one of two formats:

  1. An $18,000 stipend with a $3,000 stipend for health insurance
  2. A combined stipend of $21,000 (no health insurance payment) for the 2026-2027 academic year. Be aware that if you choose the $21,000 stipend, you will be responsible for paying the entirety of your health insurance costs.

As a graduate programming coordinator, you will be paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Minimum Experience/Education

  • Current NC State graduate student in Higher Education Administration, College Student Personnel, Counselor Education, Public Health, Women and Gender Studies, Psychology, Social Work, or a related area of study.
  • Previous experience as a student leader or advising/supporting roles
  • Must be enrolled by Fall 2026
