The Network Security Engineer roles are integral to the Network Services team within the Telecommunication Network Service division. These positions focus on the implementation and management of network design, with the primary objective of supporting the diverse needs of both internal and external customers while ensuring the reliable, ongoing operation of the network environment. The Network Security Engineers will closely collaborate with the infrastructure team, architects, and a dedicated group of network engineers to maintain a robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructure that supports the needs of UCF's campus community. Classification Title: Network Engineer IV Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree; oran equivalent combination of education and experiencepursuant toFla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
Special Instructions to the Applicants: Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. The position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business. The anticipated salary range for this position is $89,076 to $105,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations. This role supports work within secure and regulated environments and involves Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) related background screening and access protocols. All applicants mustbe authorized towork for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer. This is an Auxiliary (AUX) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted. UCF is seeking to fill multiple roles.
