Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting personnel and visitors during unusual events.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and movement throughout the location, report suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and/or disorderly conduct.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, law enforcement representatives, and/or site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
