Engineering Supervisor – (job location is New York, NY; employer: IPG Health, LLC) - Design and develop data integration and transformation processes to support enterprise analytics, machine learning, and reporting needs across the IPG Health data platform. Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models using Python, SQL, and distributed frameworks such as Apache Spark. Build and support data lakehouse environments on major cloud platforms using data lake house frameworks. Implement data ingestion from APIs and file-based sources and perform automated data quality validation and testing. Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code deployments. Assist with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow or equivalent tools. Apply data-governance, access-control, and compliance practices consistent with healthcare privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA). Collaborate with Data Science and ML Engineering teams to support model deployment, feature engineering, and analytics initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, plus 2 years of experience in position offered or as Data Engineering Director in healthcare sector. All required experience must have included: designing and managing ETL/ELT frameworks for large-scale data integration and transformation using Python, SQL, object-oriented programming principles and distributed frameworks (Apache Spark or SAS Grid); administering and optimizing CI/CD and workflow orchestration tools (such as Apache Airflow, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions); building and supporting data lakehouse environments and warehouse architectures (including schema design and optimization) on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP); implementing data ingestion from APIs, flat files, and semi-structured formats (CSV, JSON and XML); and applying data governance, access control, and compliance practices with healthcare privacy frameworks such as HIPAA. #LI-DNI.
