- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts to achieve production goals
- Identify and implement cost-effective process improvements, including automation, tooling upgrades, and workflow optimizations
- Conduct time and motion studies, process flow analysis, and capacity planning to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Learn and apply Manufacturing methods, manage tooling and equipment needs with Lean Manufacturing mindset
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, quality engineers, and production managers, to ensure seamless integration of processes
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and achieve production targets
- Investigate and troubleshoot process failures, quality problems, and equipment malfunctions, and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Required Skills:
- Pursuing a college degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Ability to learn and understand technical data and specifications
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to execute impromptu speeches/presentations in a captivating way
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills a must
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and an aptitude for learning new software packages
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude towards problem-solving
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) is a plus
- Experience with 3D printing
Compensation Information Base Hourly Range: $ 20.00
