Summary: This position will assist Nederland Measurement Manager in assuring that measurement practices at the St. James facility are conducted in a manner consistent with customer requirements, contracts, API standards, and company policy. The position's main responsibility is reconciliation of the tank, pipeline and marine movements in order to analyze discrepancies and reduce losses. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required Skills Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: * The Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree or 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience. Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills and abilities: * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: * Two+ years of experience with static and dynamic measurement standards and loss control practices, including but not limited to: * Marine operations * Tank gauging, ship and barge gauging * Metering systems * Water draw and Prover Calibrations, Tank calibration * Product quantity calculations, Auto in-line samplers, S&W in crude testing and calculations * Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Must have an aptitude for analyzing data. * Must have good communications skills and work well with other stakeholders. * Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly. * Must be computer-literate and proficient with MS Office. Measurement software experience is a plus. | |
