Title: Coordinator for Club Sports Executive Area: Student Affairs & Campus Life College/School/MBU: Campus Life & Wellbeing Department: Recreation & Wellbeing Work Location: Amherst Schedule:Full time Work Arrangement:Onsite Job Summary Under the general direction of the Assistant Director for Club Sports, the Coordinator for Club Sports plans and supervises Club Sport activities; manages the design, implementation, and evaluation of new Club Sport activities. Works with colleagues to manage a comprehensive collegiate recreation program and assists with the selection and delivery of recreation activities and student employment practices that contribute to student success and wellbeing. Essential Functions Assists in the coordination of the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines, including club sport guidelines; coordinates the development of policies and guidelines regarding Campus recreation and wellbeing programs; and coordinates the development of learning outcomes for associated participants and student employees. Other Functions Performs related duties, as assigned, or required. Understands responsibilities with respect to Title IX, Clery, and other compliance requirements. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of collegiate recreation experience at time of hire; OR Master's Degree with one (1) year related experience at time of hire. Preferred Qualifications Training, evaluation, and assessment, of a comprehensive Club Sports program. Additional Details Typical Office and Recreation Center Environment. Working Conditions Work is performed in indoor and/or outdoor athletic facilities and venues. May require travel to competitions, lifting and transporting equipment, prolonged standing, and walking during practices, games, and recruiting activities. Work Schedule and Work Arrangement Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
