Scientist III

Product Development Science and Technology (PDS&T) is seeking a Scientist III to support parenteral drug product development and commercial scale-up/tech transfer. The candidate will independently design and execute laboratory studies to develop robust manufacturing processes for clinical and commercial products. The role involves generating, analyzing, and interpreting high-quality experimental data to support product development and CMC activities. The scientist will work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support formulation robustness, process optimization, and tech transfer activities.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years experience, OR Master's with 3+ years experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (PhD with 0+ years acceptable).
• Experience in parenteral drug product process development.
• Experience designing and executing stability studies for biologics, including evaluation under pH, ionic strength, temperature, light, and moisture conditions.
• Knowledge of physical stress studies such as freeze-thaw, mixing, filtration, filling, and lyophilization for dosage form development.
• Strong ability to interpret experimental data, identify deviations, and independently design follow-up experiments.
• Strong scientific writing and verbal communication skills.
