The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible formonitoring an array of quality control systems, conducting quality control reviews and training staff on quality control issues to assure that Quadel meets its performance standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees quality control standards and practices; reviews the effectiveness of existing measures and provides input and recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Collaborates with the Managing Director and Quadel Consulting Corporation to support the development and refinement of performance indicators.
  • Oversees and coordinates quality control secondary file reviews conducted on-site at properties; may observe or participate as needed and requires periodic travel.
  • Supervises quality control review activities related to Automated Contract Administration Processing (ACAP), HUD's Integrated Real Estate Maintenance System (iREMS), CaTRAC'r, and Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS) data.
  • Reviews results of sample-based audits to ensure errors identified during quality control are addressed and corrected in the appropriate systems.
  • Oversees sample-based file audits to confirm documentation supports compliance with performance standards.
  • Maintains working knowledge of program regulations and related systems, including ACAP and iREMS, sufficient to guide staff and review work products.
  • Reviews and approves recurring quality control reports prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and usefulness for management review.
  • Provides guidance and oversight to staff regarding quality control and program requirements; coordinates training efforts with program managers on quality control issues and regulatory updates.
  • Supports the Managing Director during the Annual Compliance Review, HUD-initiated compliance activities, and related tasks as assigned.
  • Reviews consolidated data and executive-level reports (such as invoices and BUD reports) prepared for the Managing Director and corporate offices, ensuring timelines and accuracy are met.
  • Serves as a point of contact for quality control concerns and provides recommendations to strengthen systems and processes.
  • Ensures adherence to quality management system requirements as they apply to this role and supervised activities.
  • Assumes limited delegated supervisory authority in the absence of the Managing Director, as directed.
  • Performs other related supervisory duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
  • Five years of progressively responsible property management experience working with multi-family project based Section 8 properties preferred.
  • Experience with other Section 8 and property management experience and/or background as a financial analyst preferred.
  • Must attend Quadel HUD Subsidized Multi Family Housing Occupancy Training and pass the Quadel Certified Assisted Housing Manager Exam.
