Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Senior Computer Support Technician. The ideal teammate brings technical expertise, professionalism, and a strong customer service mindset to support a diverse organization. This position requires advanced technical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead, mentor, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

About the Position

This position serves as a senior member of the Technology team, providing advanced technical support to principals, associates, and related entities. The Senior Computer Support Technician ensures reliable and secure computing environments across multiple systems and platforms. The role includes leadership responsibilities within the service desk function, collaboration with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, and ownership of complex technical issues that impact business continuity.

What you will do

This position provides advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance across both Windows and macOS environments. The Senior Computer Support Technician takes initiative to improve support processes, enhance end-user experience, and contribute to the continuous evolution of technology services at Walton Enterprises. The role requires a commitment to high-quality service delivery and collaboration across technical teams.

Responsibilities

    Perform administration and maintenance of Windows and macOS systems including updates, patches, and configurations
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions using tools such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and Okta
  • Configure and deploy computing devices through management platforms such as Intune and JAMF
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
  • Support productivity tools including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to resolve network or endpoint vulnerabilities
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories, ensuring compliance with licensing and asset management policies
  • Liaise with vendors for escalated support, hardware replacement, or warranty claims
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices to enhance overall team performance
  • Participate in technology projects such as system upgrades, office expansions, and endpoint management implementations

Qualifications required for your success

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Seven to ten years of hardware and software support experience
  • Knowledge of internet security, data privacy, and endpoint protection principles
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Intune, and Apple Business Manager administration
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and network troubleshooting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex support cases independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Additional Helpful Experience Includes

  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or higher certification (MS-900)
  • M365 Modern Desktop, Identity and Access, Messaging, or Endpoint Administrator certification
  • Apple Certified Support or IT Professional credentials
  • Experience teaching, mentoring, or leading technical teams
  • Experience supporting private companies handling sensitive data
  • Knowledge of service desk operations and enterprise endpoint management best practices
  • Strong collaboration, innovation, and ownership mindset

Benefits Information

Compensation Range: $110,000 - $137,000

Benefits Information: We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
