Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support access awareness, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver strong customer service through teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions appropriate for a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support site policies related to deliveries, contractor access, and restricted areas.
  • Communicate with supervisors, employees, and/or first responders during medical, fire, weather, or operational events, and assist with orderly response procedures as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
