ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, McClean, VA, Minneapolis, MN, San Antonio, TX, or Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is for a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer within a Cybersecurity group to lead, implement, and support the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module. This position will partner with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture, and ServiceNow Developers to ensure that design, coding, and practices are in alignment with scalable enterprise solutions, and will take on application development responsibilities for the organization's ServiceNow Cyber Security Vulnerability Remediation applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Implement solutions by configuring and customizing scripting for all components of the ServiceNow VR product
• Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools
• Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
• Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met
• Ensure that solutions are secure and scalable, complying with defined standards and best practices
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts and peers to resolve complex technical issues
• Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
• Code ServiceNow solutions within an Agile Framework
• Develop workflow and scripts as needed to personalize existing Service Now applications and automate business processes
• Manage deployment by engaging with enterprise platform management during release
• Manage API integration with non-Service Now applications
• Manage documentation in Confluence of new or existing Service Now applications

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture method and ability to consult clients with such topics
• 5+ years of experience in Service Now Application development
• 1+ years of experience with Service Now Vulnerability Response
• 1+ years of experience with web technologies - JavaScript, ES5+, HTML
• Certified as a Service Now System Administrator
• Required to be certified as Service Now Application Developer within 6 months of hire

Desired skills:

• 3+ years of experience with Service Now Vulnerability Response
• Certified as a Service Now Application Developer
• Certified as Service Now Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response
• Micro-certified - Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, integration Hub etc
• Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React
• 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 2+ years Agile experience
• Integration Experience with Qualys, Wiz, NVD
• Integration Experience with Blackduck, Checkmarx

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
