Position Title: Lab Tech Jr.

Work Location: Gretna, Louisiana, USA, 70053

Assignment Duration: 6+ months

Work Schedule:

Regular: Wednesday-Saturday 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Training: Tuesday-Saturday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (for 3 months)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

First Reviewer Position. This position is Nonexempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.

In this role, the individual will be responsible for operating a Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS for confirmatory testing in accordance with the SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and those of other regulatory organizations for all non-negative test results. This job also requires the individual to perform some QC duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer
• Operating LC-MS/MS for confirmatory testing
• Perform testing in accordance with SAMHSA mandatory guidelines
• Perform testing in accordance with other regulatory organizations
• Conduct confirmatory testing for all non-negative test results
• Perform some QC duties

Qualification & Experience:

• Must possess degree at the Bachelor level
• Degree must be in biology, chemistry, or equivalent related field
