Job Summary

Come be a part of one of the fastest-growing businesses at Client! Client's Services Business Development team is seeking an experienced, thoughtful and entrepreneurial program manager to help grow our Client Services business through third-party partnerships with a focus on Client's student business. This is a fixed-term, 6-month contractor engagement for someone who can onboard quickly and operate independently from day one. The right candidate brings a combination of partnership and BD experience with program management rigor, and a genuine passion for media, entertainment, and subscriptions.

You will be supporting the Services team's global growth efforts with a focus on developing new partnership opportunities, negotiating deal frameworks and terms, and managing day-to-day operations of the Client Services student channel. In collaboration with Client's engineering, marketing, finance, legal, and operations teams, you'll develop go-to-market plans for key student growth initiatives, including bringing complex partnerships to market.

The role requires a highly motivated teammate with great attention to detail, able to work across multiple internal and external teams with professionalism and flexibility. We are looking for a self-starter who can build and manage partnerships to grow the student channel. Your knowledge of the higher education market will be crucial in defining strategy and tactics to grow subscribers and win mindshare. You'll manage external vendors that provide core program services for Client, identify new partners, and ensure we are always working with best-in-class providers.

Description

  • Lead negotiations with partners to ensure Client services are available to large volumes of customers and marketed in accordance with client's high standards
  • Build business models and programs that enable Client and its partners to achieve shared goals
  • Lead project management activities for integrating partners into Client's services platform
  • Manage ongoing commercial relationships with partners, including reporting, analysis and contract negotiations


Key Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or program management within entertainment, media, subscriptions, or technology
  • Consistent record of successful negotiation with third parties and cross-functionally within a large organizational structure
  • Ability to research, size, and prioritize opportunities to drive subscriber growth and retention
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail
  • Solutions-oriented team player with a self-starter attitude and positive approach
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to develop creative, innovative solutions
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously across a breadth of workstreams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the self-awareness to ask questions and acknowledge what you don't know


Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree required
