2nd Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm

What you'll do:



  • Partner with Yard Monitor to assign dock doors for all Inbound, Outbound and Will Call appointments
  • Gather shipment appointment information in order to check drivers in and out in a timely manner
  • Utilize software system to update driver check in and check out times.
  • Ensures that all drivers understand yard safety expectations
  • Notify all Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse Leads of all carrier driver check in and advise of any early or late arrivals
  • Communicates with carriers and brokers to get updated ETA of scheduled loads
  • Monitor progress of all Inbound, Outbound and Will Call appointments to ensure timely execution to promise ship dates
  • Prepare and maintain necessary distribution documentation for operations, such as BOLs and packing lists
  • Facilitate team involvement and commitment to resolving storage, transportation, invoicing and shipping issues
  • Demonstrate professional behavior, good business judgment, and strong team interaction skills
  • Participate in the cycle counting of finished goods in a warehouse environment.
  • Operate PIT at ground level and up to +30 feet off the ground.
  • Assist the Inventory Control Supervisor with the reconciliation of inventory counts.
  • Manage daily reporting.
  • Participate in problem solving activities to help improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost within the RSC.
  • Lead by example with a continuous improvement mindset; constantly be looking for ways to improve the employee experience through process enhancements.
  • Train, develop team members, promote a safe working environment, and enforce safety rules and procedures.
  • Understand computerized systems associated with both the inbound and outbound processes.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to change; be comfortable working in the constantly changing environment.
  • Perform Bin sweep on all locations, identify defects, root cause transaction details, identify offending operators and report out to findings to leadership.
  • Conduct cycle counts, check in and research /process RMA and conduct bin consolidation opportunities.
  • Maintain location integrity - one sku per one location

What you'll bring:

* 2-5 Years of warehouse experience in an associate level role.

* Experience with RF units in a warehouse environment

* Strong PC skills, including MS Office.

* High School education or GED

* Efficient and safe use of PIT equipment is required.

* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

* Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.

* High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.

* Self starter.

* Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner.

* Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic.

Within 3 months, you'll:

* You will be immersed and understand the Atkore safety culture and Values.

* You will have completed any required trainings.

* Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.

* Be fluent in normal cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes.
