JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Embark Peer Coach Supervisor supports peer coaches and incoming first-year students on the autism spectrum during Embark Penn State (June 7-12, 2026). This role provides oversight and mentorship to peer coaches while helping ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for participants. Working closely with College of Education faculty and staff, the Supervisor coordinates peer coach activities during training and the program week. They serve as a primary support for peer coaches, helping them apply coaching principles effectively with students. The Supervisor models an autism-informed, coaching-based approach and contributes to a supportive, flexible environment that recognizes differences in communication, learning, and social engagement. This role offers experience in supervision, leadership, and facilitation within a higher education context. It is well suited for graduate or advanced undergraduate students with experience in student support, education, counseling, or related fields. Job Duties- Training and Professional Development- Includes coaching foundations, supervision of peer coaches, Penn State student supports, autism-informed practices, and facilitation strategies. Requirements and Qualifications- * Bachelor's degree in education and 1+ years of academic coaching experience.
