Job Summary Celestar, a B&A Company, has an IMMEDIATE NEED to identify an All-Source Intelligence Analyst - Senior (NGB/J2) who will be seated at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. - Provide expert analytical support on their subject matter of expertise, guided by the latest National Security Strategy and National Defense Strategy.
- Maintain detailed, daily situational awareness of threat developments and of military and geopolitical activities to support short- or no-notice briefings to CNGB as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and, at least monthly, to the 54 Adjutants General.
- Daily analytical activities will include reviewing relevant current information from the U.S. Intelligence Community (e.g., Joint Staff Intelligence Directorate (J2), DIA, NSA, CIA, NGA, combatant command intelligence production centers, etc.), as well as from allies and partners.
- Coordinate, assemble, produce, and brief a daily TS/SCI current intelligence report that addresses strategic issues focused on Cyber.
- Submit at least five intelligence slides per week for consideration into intelligence briefings provided to NGB staff by the lead intelligence briefer in NGB J22.
- Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of foreign security issues.
- Respond to NGB Senior Leader, NGB JS, and JFHQ RFIs or requests for the dissemination of information.
- Monitor applicable Combatant Command, JIOC, Intelligence Production Centers, Intelligence Agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies, U.S. embassies, and IC-wide watch desks for initial and imminent threat reporting.
- Collaborate with responsible intelligence agencies to collect additional information regarding the threat and produce an executive summary as needed.
- Participate in and coordinate with various COIs within the DoD JS J2 in order to share and gain information on future intelligence projects and threat reporting.
- Assist the NGB JS in developing strategy, planning operations and campaigns, and offering best military advice for effective joint and multinational operations. Contractor shall fuse national and theater intelligence into all-source estimates and assessments, in addition to advising on the best application of national intelligence capabilities, the optimization of joint force intelligence capabilities, and the integration of additional intelligence resources.
- Advise and inform the NGB J2 Governance branch leads for all intelligence aspects of the OE relevant to the assigned area of expertise.
Desired Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and twelve (12) years of experience.
- OR, Bachelor's Degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional five (5) years of related senior experience, for a total of seventeen (17) years, in lieu of a Master's Degree.
Required Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
- Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions.
- Ability to brief at the Senior Civilian Leaders and General Officer level (06 and above).
- Experience conducting analysis and drafting policies related to cyber intelligence.
- Ability to fuse intelligence from across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings.
