Description My customer has 2 Contract Business Analyst roles open. They will support Product Managers by leading complex research, analysis, and feature development efforts across an enterprise product environment. These analysts will partner closely with product, business, and delivery stakeholders to elicit business needs, identify root causes, and translate ambiguous requests into clearly defined requirements, features, and acceptance criteria that enable Agile delivery teams. The role requires capability in consulting on complex initiatives, evaluating solution options, validating outcomes, managing dependencies and risks, and recommending improvements that enhance quality and delivery effectiveness. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical rigor, experience supporting product roadmaps and feature development, comfort operating independently in fastpaced environments, and the ability to influence stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business outcomes and strategic priorities. Must be able to work EST time zone. 6 month contract Key Responsibilities Business Research & Analysis oFamiliarity with JIRA, Agile ceremonies, and structured requirements techniques. oInsurance, financial services, or policy administration system experience preferred (FAST platform familiarity a plus). oConsults on complex initiatives and feature development efforts, supporting assigned product capabilities and roadmap priorities. oPartners with product management and stakeholders to elicit business problems, clarify objectives, and identify root causes. oConducts impact analysis and evaluates solution options to support informed decisionmaking. oMaintains awareness of industry trends, platform capabilities, and emerging practices, applying insights to improve product solutions. Requirements & Feature Development oDevelops and documents clear, structured business requirements and translates those business needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation suitable for Agile delivery teams. oFacilitates requirements validation and ensures alignment across business, product, and delivery stakeholders. oDevelops complex acceptance criteria and supports validation activities as needed to confirm solutions meet business intent. Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement oServes as a trusted analytical resource to product managers, delivery teams, and business partners. oCoordinates across internal stakeholders to ensure solutions address scope, quality, timing, and risk considerations. oSupports prioritization discussions by clearly articulating value, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs. oAssists with issue resolution by assessing defects, determining business impact, and recommending prioritized responses. Process Improvement & Change Support oIdentifies opportunities to improve analysis practices, documentation quality, and delivery efficiency. oChampions adoption of improved processes, tools, and standards that reduce rework and enhance solution outcomes. oPositively supports change management efforts within the product and delivery lifecycle. Ideal Candidate Profile - Recruiting firms should prioritize candidates who demonstrate: o3+ years of Business Analysis experience, supporting complex initiatives in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment. oProven ability to work closely with Product Managers to support roadmap execution and feature delivery. oStrong experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for enterprise systems. oComfortable operating with ambiguity and transforming loosely defined ideas into actionable requirements. oExperience collaborating across business, technology, and delivery teams. oStrong analytical, facilitation, and written communication skills.
