Security Officer - Security Clearance

As a Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology-focused location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access for staff, guests, and deliveries.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location while communicating professionally with personnel and assisting with routine questions, directions, and other security-related support needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
