May need to travel between Broadview's regional areas in Syracuse, NY and Binghamton, NY.

Position is currently remote with potential for future hybrid model at a location in Buffalo.

Summary of Role:

This position necessitates proficiency in every component of the retail branch operational process as well as knowledge of procedures, policies, security, and processing systems.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality of data and adhere to departmental, regulatory and Credit Union strict security and data protection standards.

  • Build internal customer loyalty utilizing courtesy and friendliness, resolve service issues in a prompt and professional manner, within the established policies and procedures and utilizing knowledge of process and systems providing the accurate and complete information.

  • Monitor front office issues and keep department staff and management aware of problem issues.

  • Assist with branch proof process including identifying out of balance differences and working collaboratively with staff and Accounting to clear differences.

  • Continuous review of procedure and policy.

  • Prepares periodic and ad hoc reports.

  • Develops monthly focus newsletter to include trending topics, process improvement, and monthly metrics at the branch level

  • Branch form updates, development, and implementation.

  • Write and disseminate front office communication as needed.

  • Conducts periodic work reviews/audits to assess efficiency and effectiveness of operations performance within assigned area of responsibility.

  • Monitors trends across operations area of expertise and makes recommendations to management.

  • Daily cash oversight monitoring levels, orders and organizational needs.

  • Monitors overall GL activity, leads reconciliation efforts/research in specific area of responsibility.

  • Continuous oversight of branch audit execution, including a yearly in-depth review.

  • Ongoing Signature Guarantee/Validation Oversight.

  • Manage certified users and support overall program.

  • Manage user access to the appropriate alarm panels on a daily basis.

  • Included on all branch location security call lists and responsible for after-hours call support.

  • Vendor management support and confirmation of process accuracy.

  • Alarm system weekly and monthly reporting.

  • Branch parking changes and expenses.

  • Coin Machine troubleshooting and reconciliation.

  • Cash/Coin order oversight.

  • MoneyGram troubleshooting and reconciliation.

  • Signature Guarantee/Validation program management.

  • TCD/TCR machine troubleshooting and reconciliation.

  • Front office support.

  • Branch Triage coordination, ember issue resolution and system issue analysis.

  • Fraud analysis (counterfeit currency, check deposit, neg share, identity theft, elder abuse etc.)

  • Project participant/liaison representing operations for organizational initiatives involving area of expertise as assigned.

  • Prepares written assessments (proposals, business cases, proformas, etc.) with analysis supporting recommendation.

  • Leveraging operations knowledge to assist with problem/issue diagnosis and resolution.

  • Maintains awareness of industry/vendor/system trends/changes pertinent to operations and makes recommendations.

  • Forecast review, analysis, and refinement.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, or minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the level 2 position or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high monetary risk operations governed by established deadlines and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure in a high monetary risk environment.

  • Sound organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience reviewing proposals and business cases, drawing logical conclusions from analysis.

  • High level of technology proficiency.

  • Experience working with reconciliations helpful.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating and manipulating spreadsheets and creating reports from spreadsheets.

Starting Compensation:$22.62 - $27.15/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
