Job Summary:
  • The RN assigned to these areas provide direct and indirect nursing care, by contributing to the patient's assessment, determining priorities, identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives and evaluating outcomes.
  • The position requires independent judgment and nursing actions, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to utilize an interdisciplinary approach in the provision of nursing .
Role & Responsibilities:
  • ICU RN: Specialized hospital unit that provides critical care and life support for patients experiencing severe, life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Unit is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained professionals who provide constants, 24/7 monitoring and treatment.
  • ICU RNs provide direct care for critically ill patients by continuously monitoring vital signs, managing complex life-support equipment, and administering medications and treatments.
  • Med-Surg RN: They assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Includes telemetry, orthopedics, medicine, and general surgery. RN will be responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, interdisciplinary team coordination, telemetry monitoring, admissions, and discharges, internal and external transfers, delegating to assistive personnel, electronic medical record documentation, patient transport, and emergency response procedures.
  • ER RN: The emergency department is open 24/7 to provide immediate, unscheduled medical care for acute illnesses and injuries. Patients are seen based on the severity of their condition through a triage system, which prioritizes those with life-threatening issues. The ED handles a wide range of medical emergencies, from broken bones and allergic reactions to critical events like heart attacks, strokes, and severe trauma.
