Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • Estimated annual base pay:

    • Level II: $78,000(minimum) - $102,000(midpoint) - $125,000(maximum)

    • Level III: $95,000(minimum) - $123,000(midpoint) - $152,000(maximum)

Business Intelligence Analyst II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights Delivery: Conduct advanced data analysis using statistical methods, predictive modeling, and trend forecasting; Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that align with project goals; Design and optimize data models using SAP S/4HANA (e.g., CDS Views), Azure Data Lake, and Power BI; Implement relationships between datasets and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for business analysis.

  • Dashboard Development and Automation: Ability to create advanced dashboards and interactive visualizations using PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc. ; ADevelop interactive dashboards in Power BI that allow users to drill down into data. ; AIntegrate data from SAP S/4HANA and Azure platforms to provide unified reports; Automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency and save time.

  • Managing BI Projects or Tasks: Take ownership of smaller BI projects or specific tasks within larger initiatives; Define project requirements, set timelines, and track progress to ensure on-time delivery; Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to organize and prioritize tasks.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and project objectives; Communicate insights and progress effectively, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Data Quality Assurance and Governance: Ensure data integrity and quality by validating datasets and monitoring data pipelines; Collaborate with data engineers to optimize workflows and ensure scalability.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct statistical analyses, trend forecasting, and predictive modeling to uncover actionable insights.

  • Dashboard and Visualization Development: Build dynamic, interactive dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI to meet complex business needs.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases; Writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources; Experience with Microsoft or SAP BI platforms including, but not limited to: MS Azure, MS Power BI, SAP HANA, HANA Views, CDS Views, SAP Analysis for MS Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere.

  • Data Automation and Workflow Optimization: Ability to use scripting (e.g., Python, VBA) or BI tools to automate recurring reports and reduce manual work.

  • Data Quality and Governance: Validate data accuracy and collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business goals.

  • Project Management: Take ownership of specific tasks or smaller BI projects, define requirements, set timelines, and track progress; Use project management tools to organize and prioritize tasks.

  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Work across departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to deliver insights and solutions that drive decision-making.

  • Business and Industry Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of industry trends, KPIs, and business processes to provide context for data insights.

  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking to diagnose issues, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions to complex problems.

Business Intelligence Analyst III

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end BI projects, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to implementation and delivery; Develop project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and manage risks to ensure successful completion.

  • Advanced Analytics and Business Recommendations: Perform complex analytics, such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and deep statistical analysis; Translate insights into strategic recommendations for leadership and stakeholders; Architect end-to-end BI solutions that integrate SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI.

  • Stakeholder Advocacy and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables; Present insights and project updates to senior management in a clear, actionable format.

  • Mentorship and Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior analysts on technical skills, project management, and best practices; Oversee the work of mid-level analysts, ensuring their tasks align with project timelines and quality standards.

  • Process Improvement and Governance: Drive improvements in BI project workflows, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational standards; Define and enforce data governance frameworks and best practices for BI tools and systems.

Key Skills:

  • Strategic Data Insights and Recommendations: Provide high-level insights and actionable recommendations to leadership, aligning with business goals and strategy.

  • Advanced Analytics and Modeling: Use advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning to uncover deep insights and forecast trends.

  • Technical Expertise: Expert level proficiency in dashboard architecture and customization; Expert level of competency in tools like MS Azure, Synapse, Fabric, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Intelligence for enterprise-level BI solutions; Ability to design scalable, enterprise-level dashboards and reporting systems tailored to business needs, ensuring usability and scalability.

  • Data Architecture and Process Improvement: Collaborate with data architects and engineers to design and optimize data pipelines, architecture, and workflows for long-term scalability.

  • Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end BI projects, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and delivery; Manage risks, allocate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Stakeholder Advocacy and Strategic Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and deliverables; Present insights and project updates to executives in a clear and impactful manner.

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead efforts to ensure user adoption of BI tools and solutions through training, communication, and support; Mentor and guide junior and mid-level analysts, helping them improve technical skills and project management capabilities; Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team.

  • Change Management Expertise: Drive adoption of new systems, processes, and tools by developing training programs, communication strategies, and support resources.

  • Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

  • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI and data analytics; Driving innovation by exploring and implementing emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT in BI systems.
