Lincare requires an individual to set up CPAPs, Respiratory Assist Devices (RADs), and Non-invasive Ventilators.
* Maintain CPAP/RAD and Non-invasive Ventilator compliance * Manage CPAP/RAD and Non-invasive Ventilator supplies/inquires/orders * Cal MdINR missed appointments, manage Oximetry process, and all other duties assigned/related to the functionality of the center JOB FUNCTIONS * Performs Non-Invasive Ventilator setups in a timely and professional manner * Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner * May also perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patient home as well * This includes completion of all required documentation, instructing patient on the safe and proper use of equipment * Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with Lincare Policies and procedures * Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area * Monitors Non-Invasive Ventilator and CPAP/RAD compliance reports and follow up with noncompliant patients * Receives and responds to patient request for Non-Invasive Ventilator, CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification, confirmation of the specific supplies needed, and arranging for them to be shipped to the patient * Monitors MdINR Compliance report and follows up with noncompliant patients * Manages the centers oximetry process * Follows applicable policies and procedures of Lincare, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual, General Safety, OSHA, and Emergency Planning * Participating in on-call responsibilities for the center * The frequency of participation will depend on the size of the center and the number of employees sharing the responsibility * Represents Lincare through professional personal appearance, patient care activities * May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or other periods of absenteeism * Completion of company's Specialty Ventilator Technician (SVT) Training Required * Requires use of personal vehicle and valid driver's license | |
