The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all outbound and inbound activity to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of products. This role supports operation by maintaining shipping schedules, verifying documentation manual and electronic, and communicating effectively with internal and external teams.


PURPOSE:


The purpose of the Shipping Coordinator is to proactively plan and coordinate scheduled shipments to ensure customer demand is met, and to accurately process and complete all required manual and electronic shipping documentation to support compliant, efficient, and on-time delivery.



KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maintaining shipment visibility and schedule accuracy to support operational continuity.
  • Ensuring all required paperwork is complete, complaint and properly filed both manual and electronic.
  • Coordinating with production, lab, transportation and customer service teams to align shipment readiness and timing.
  • Accurately input data into Calumet ERP system, SAP
  • Ensure full compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must comply/adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Must be able to work any shift and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to score satisfactory on pre-employment assessment



PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision
  • Prior Microsoft Office programs, SAP, and JDEdwards experience
