Start Date: This position is only open to current INTERNAL MATC employees and supports the Community Education Pathway and is available to start for the fall semester, August 2026.
Hours: This position is full-time. Full-time faculty are assigned a minimum workload of 32 hours per week. Course load and schedule will depend on course availability. Work schedule could include in person, online, hybrid, daytime, evening, and weekend teaching assignments. All work must be conducted in the state of Wisconsin.
Salary: Full-time faculty salary is determined based on the individual's education and years of relevant experience and is assigned to the appropriate salary class and step in accordance with the applicable salary schedule. Compensation is prorated based on start date.

Proof of Education: Unofficial transcripts for all degrees earned from an accredited institution. The transcripts must show the degree awarded and the date it was conferred.
Proof of Credentials: Copies of any professional licenses and/or certifications required by the position.

Individuals who have completed college or university course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts, degrees, and other relevant documents prior to applying at Milwaukee Area Technical College and must be attached to the online job application. A detailed course by course, foreign transcript evaluation is required any time foreign course work is used to meet any credential requirement, even if the foreign course work has been accepted by a college or university in the United States

Interview: As part of the interview process, selected candidates are required to prepare and present an interactive theory lesson and simulated teaching demonstration lasting 10 minutes of the overall interview time, which may be conducted in-person or virtually.
