Summary:

As part of the Contract Management Department, the primary customer focal point in the company for commercial customers and governments contractual discussions, the successful candidate will be part of the MH139 and/or TH73 A Contract Management team and will manage the relationship with the customer's representatives by providing efficient and effective communication channels and responding to the customers' requests and expectations.

This will include Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Contracts through the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, some of which could utilize United States Foreign Military Financing as a funding source. Furthermore, the role will also include contractually managing key domestic and foreign subcontractors.

The successful candidate will play a proactive role in the management of the contract lifecycle and prevention of problems during the execution of the contract by highlighting potential areas of concerns and promptly driving the company to solve issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery process of the helicopters, technical data package and simulation training devices in compliance with company procedures by coordinating all necessary departments and ensuring the fulfilment of contractual requirements to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the administrative lifecycle of the contract
  • Manages and support maintaining comprehensive subcontract/procurement electronic files in accordance with company policies, procedures and Federal Regulations
  • Manages and support developing formal contractual correspondence
  • Manages the activity of invoicing and financial activities in accordance with company policies, procedures
  • Manages the contractual documentation internal flow down in accordance with company policies, procedures
  • Manages contracts for the sale of helicopters, Trainings, Services, Training Devices and deliverables of the program.
  • Manage and support the receipt and review of the Request for Quotation and the preparation of the pertaining proposal.
  • Manage the Contract amendments process for the sale of helicopters and deliverables of the program.
  • Works in close collaboration with Program Management, Legal, Finance and the required company departments to ensure the effective and efficient management of the contract lifecycle and the customer receives what the contract demands.
  • Review the Contractual T&C in order to provide indications to internal departments.
  • Coordinates the internal departments to ensure the proper and timely performance and fulfilment of the contractual obligations on behalf of the customer.
  • Ensures the on-time payment, helicopter configuration, definition of painting and interiors
  • scheme and delivery/acceptance of helicopters and the deliverables
  • Processes documents that are necessary for the customer to accomplish timely and proper delivery procedures.
  • Works one-on-one with customers to accomplish the inspection and acceptance of the finished helicopters.
  • Performs other duties and fulfils other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/BS degree (business related field preferred).

Experience:

  • 1-3 Years' experience in a similar role/field
  • Strong MS Office skills and SAP
  • Prior experience with Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Contracts, Export Licenses, Foreign Military Financing, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and working with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency and the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls preferred

Competencies:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet customer deadlines.
  • Ability to work with online management software-SAP or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel internationally
