Job Description
We are currently hiring a Cost Accountant in Boston, MA. The Cost Accountant is responsible for activities related to inventory accuracy for outside warehouses & contract brewery locations, preparing journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close, ad-hoc analysis to drive efficiencies within the cost team, and other required reporting. What You'll Brew: * Month end close preparation, including booking of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: * 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting or related field in support of monthly close, inventory records management, internal reporting and analysis in a food, beverage or other consumer-branded/manufacturing business preferred Preferred Qualifications: Level: 7IC At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $61,000 and $109,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
