You will provide effective legal representation by retaining and supervising outside counsel that handles complex litigation involving either the corporation and/or its insureds within established corporate guidelines and the applicable code of professional responsibility. Perform basic initial coverage review and draft Reservation of Rights letters on certain files. You may also provide legal advice to our business partners on an as needed basis. You will report to the Senior Manager, Legal.
In this primarily field-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working in the field, directly interacting with outside counsel, customers, Agents, Agency Staff, etc. On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
