Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Neonatal / pediatric intravenous (USP 797 aseptic technique) and non-sterile medication compounding experience preferred

NICU Pharmacy is open seven days / week;

Shifts varied between 630am- 730pm / weekend rotation and holiday requirement

REQUIRED:

1. Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
2. One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

PREFERRED:

1. Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
2. Neonatal / pediatric intravenous (USP 797 aseptic technique) and non-sterile medication compounding experience preferred
