The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series, depending on qualifications and interests. UCSF Radiology is committed to leadership in clinical patient care, education, innovation and research in image-guided intervention. The Chief position offers an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to build on the success of the distinguished division and enhance collaborations between internal and external partners. The selected candidate will hold responsibility and accountability for administrative and programmatic oversight of the clinical, research, educational, and service activities in Musculoskeletal Radiology in alignment with the department's strategy, vision, mission, and goals. Obligations include departmental leadership and administration, delivery of high-quality care for patients, stewardship of educational and research programs in Musculoskeletal Imaging, and faculty mentoring. The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, and completion of fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or be prepared to enter into the ABR Alternate Pathway. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The qualifications are to be met by the time of the faculty appointment start date. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $190,600-$405,900.
