Security Officer - First Shift

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and site personnel by following post orders, access procedures, and site-specific security-related policies at an active construction location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, perimeter, staging areas, and entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor gates, fencing, equipment areas, and temporary structures, document observations, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues according to site protocols.
• Assist with checking credentials, controlling entry and exit activity, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation for daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
