What We DoThe intern will work in a program designed to help college students gain experience and develop the technology, professional and interpersonal skills to use throughout their career. First American Interns work in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry-balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities-while under the close supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support a specific business function within Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Accounting and Finance.

What You'll Do

  • Create, manage, and support custom GPTs and other AI-powered tools to enhance operational efficiency and drive business initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology teams to identify AI opportunities and support implementation efforts
  • Document AI initiatives, including use cases, requirements, and outcomes, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders
  • Define and track measurable business value for AI initiatives, including performance metrics and ROI
  • Develop clear and concise summaries and updates on AI initiatives for internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Support the development, definition, and ongoing maintenance of the Lender Division AI engagement strategy
  • Communicate AI strategy, progress, and outcomes effectively across teams to ensure alignment and adoption
  • Stay informed on emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve internal capabilities

What You'll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, product management, and business strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., GPT-based platforms)
  • An interest and willingness to learn about the Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial, Title Insurance or related industries.
  • The ability to solve problems, be detailed oriented and be conscientious about all work completed.
  • An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company in the best professional manner as possible.
  • The potential to excel in the following competencies: Communication, Customer Focus, Ethics & Integrity, Teamwork & Adaptability, Productivity & Initiative.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00/hour This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
