Recruiter: This is where you come in.

We're looking for a dynamic Recruiter to attract and hire top talent for MacDonald-Miller. In this role, you'll partner closely with hiring managers to lead the full-cycle recruiting process, build strong candidate pipelines, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience. You'll also play a key role in strengthening our employer brand through networking, sourcing, and community engagement.

In addition, you will manage the MacDonald-Miller Summer Internship Program, leading recruiting efforts, university partnerships, onboarding, intern events, and the overall intern experience. This program is a critical pipeline for future talent and an important part of our long-term hiring strategy.

This role offers ownership, visibility, growth opportunities, and the ability to make a lasting impact on our business.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of skilled trades, technical, and corporate roles.
  • Talent Sourcing: Build pipelines of passive and active candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and networking.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with leaders on hiring strategy, interview processes, and candidate selection.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a professional and seamless experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Employer Branding: Represent MacDonald-Miller at career fairs, campus events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Internship Program Leadership: Own and elevate the Summer Internship Program by leading recruiting, onboarding, intern engagement, mentorship partnerships, and delivering a best-in-class experience that builds our future talent pipeline.
  • Data & Process Improvement: Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve hiring results.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have...

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
  • Experience with internship, campus recruiting, or early career programs preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using ATS systems and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • A passion for hiring great people and building future talent pipelines.

Compensation:

  • Recruiter - (3 to 5 years of experience) - $80K to $100K Annually
  • Sr. Recruiter - (6 to 10 years of experience) $100K to $125K Annually
