Join Our Team as a Customer Care Specialist - Back-Up Care Support Are you passionate about helping people and making a real difference in their daily lives? Bright Horizons is looking for dedicated *Customer Care Specialists* to join our Back-Up Care team. In this role, you'll be the lifeline for employees of major client companies who need reliable child care solutions when their regular arrangements fall through.
What You'll Do * Be the first point of contact for employees seeking back-up child care support. * Handle inbound calls from client employees and/or place outbound calls to child care centers or in-home providers. * Collaborate with internal networks to quickly find the right solution so employees can continue their workday stress-free. * Document conversations accurately in our CRM system to ensure seamless communication. Imagine this: An employee at Microsoft suddenly finds their child care provider unavailable. They call Bright Horizons, and you step in to connect them with a safe, reliable option-helping them stay productive at work while ensuring their child is cared for. What We're Looking For *Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent. * At least 1 year of experience in customer service, help desk, or call center. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent organizational and time management abilities. * Typing speed of 35+ WPM and solid data entry skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer operations. * Ability to adapt quickly to new software systems. * Skilled at identifying caller needs without relying on scripts. *Nice-to-Have:* * Exposure to higher education (Associate's or Bachelor's degree). Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
