Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. Our core competencies include machining and rubber-to-metal bonding, and we hold multiple industry and aerospace customer certifications, including AS9100 and NADCAP.

Position Summary

The Intern will assist in developing processes, procedures, and work aids to improve compliance with federal regulations within Supply Chain function. The internship will include enhancing and/or developing a repository for required documents, developing training and processes to increase awareness and improve compliance, and performing an audit to provide evidence of compliance.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop current state map, process, and confidence questionnaire
  • Develop and/or enhance processes to ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Train and perform audits as needed
  • Senior actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Sales, Pre-Law, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment


Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively document processes and procedures.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Computer proficiency - Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a US citizen
