Job Posting Title Machine Operator Job Description Summary Perform the responsibilities detailed below for the assigned production area Job Description: Meet production targets, and quality goals Environment/Safety requirements Understand Lockout Tagout Understand Quality Documents (Deviations, CARs, Travelers, Work Instructions) Perform inspection requirements, complete production records Operate preliminary and finish Deflash, Robotic and CNC Deflash machines Maintain rotary chucks, cutters, belts, etc Start-up and Shut down of the rotary grinder Adjust sizes / change belts Changes tools and preset Load shot peener Changeover finish equipment Understand the machine controls Cross train in department and plant to perform a variety of manufacturing duties Work in a safe manner always and complies with 5S initiatives Understand and execute NCM (Non-conforming material) Process Understanding and execute SDS (Safety Data Sheets) System/Labeling Understand and execute WI (Work Instructions) location Reference the Physical Demand Analysis for this job Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Education High school diploma or equivalent required Requires a minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing operations (2 years' experience preferred) About AAM: As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
