Job Description Summary

Perform the responsibilities detailed below for the assigned production area

Job Description:

  • Meet production targets, and quality goals
  • Environment/Safety requirements
  • Understand Lockout Tagout
  • Understand Quality Documents (Deviations, CARs, Travelers, Work Instructions)
  • Perform inspection requirements, complete production records
  • Operate preliminary and finish Deflash, Robotic and CNC Deflash machines
  • Maintain rotary chucks, cutters, belts, etc
  • Start-up and Shut down of the rotary grinder
  • Adjust sizes / change belts
  • Changes tools and preset
  • Load shot peener
  • Changeover finish equipment
  • Understand the machine controls
  • Cross train in department and plant to perform a variety of manufacturing duties
  • Work in a safe manner always and complies with 5S initiatives
  • Understand and execute NCM (Non-conforming material) Process
  • Understanding and execute SDS (Safety Data Sheets) System/Labeling
  • Understand and execute WI (Work Instructions) location
  • Reference the Physical Demand Analysis for this job
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Requires a minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing operations (2 years' experience preferred)
