Data Engineer

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Full-time Data Engineer (Senior Associate L1 and L2)to support ourClient in Financial Services sector.

As a Senior Associate Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Big Data solutions. Working with the latest data technologies in the industry, you will be instrumental in helping our clients evolve for a more digital future.

• Combine your technical expertise and problem-solving passion to work closely with clients, turning complex ideas into end-to-end solutions that transform our clients' business.
• Lead, design, develop and deliver large-scale data systems, data processing and data transformation projects that deliver business value for clients.
• Automate data platform operations and manage the post-production system and processes and ensure the data quality is accurate for the data.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and provide project estimates for the design and development of the solution.
• Provide technical inputs to agile processes, such as epic, story, and task definition to resolve issues and remove barriers throughout the lifecycle of client engagements.
• Creation and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Helm, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Ensure that the data marts which are built are cost-effective and performant.

• Demonstrable experience leveragingAIto design and builddata marts and data platformsinvolving implementation ofend-to-end data pipelinessuch asGlue ETL, Lambda functions, Spark/ Pyspark and DBT.
• Experience applying AI to optimize data processing, transformation, or analytics workflows.
• Hands-on experience with one or morecloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native data solutions.
• Implementation experience withNoSQL databases(i.e.,DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.) andtraditional databases(i.e.,SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Experience indata modeling,warehouse designand buildingfact and dimension tables.
• Experience with modern data lakes such asDatabricks and/or Snowflake and Apache Iceberg.
• Logical programming skills usingSQL queries, Python, Spark/ PySpark, Java, JavaScript, and/or Scala.
• Cloud-native data platformdesign with a focus onstreaming data pipelines and event-driven architecture.
• Test programming usingautomated testing frameworks,data validationand quality frameworks, anddata lineage frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.

• AIDriven Data Engineering.
• 4-5yrs of experience on either of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Atleast 2years of experience with data lakes such as Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• NoSQL and SQL.
• Implementing data pipelines.
• Proven experience in data modeling, data warehouse design and fact/dimension implementations.

Annual Pay Range (in USD):

For SAL-1: $110,000 - $130,000

For SAL-2: $130,000 - $150,000
