As a Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with location protocols, assisting with visitor direction and general information as needed.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or activity observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
