The Social Media Specialist is responsible forshaping and strengthening the organization's global brandbyhelping to executea differentiatedsocial media programfor Baker Hughes.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Building an execution plan forthe socialmediastrategy

  • Executinga detailed global strategy that highlights Baker Hughes' role in rewriting The Energy Equationandpositionsthe company within a new competitive space

  • Developing compelling and differentiated social content

  • Executingpaid and organicsocial media opportunities

  • Supportingstrategic business priorities

  • Buildinganexecutionplan forsocialmedia

  • Collaborate across the enterprise tosupport business priorities and strategically plan campaigns

  • Participate insocial ecosystem auditsand maturity assessments

  • Participate insocialchannel consolidation projects

  • Contribute tosocial mediatrainingacross the brand,marketingand external communications (BMEC) teams

  • Executingthestrategy

  • Createplatform-native content that is ready for publication acrossdigital channels

  • Translatecampaign, thought leadership, and announcement content into narratives that areoptimizedfor engagement

  • Liaise withCreative Content team to ensure brand-representativecontent

  • Collaborating across the company

  • Collaborate within the BMEC team and across the company to ensure that the digital strategy incorporates and addresses all region- and segment-specific situations and challenges. The goal is a strategic and holistic digital plan that engenders brand awareness and reputation around the world.

  • Supportingstrategicbusinesspriorities

  • Incorporate thedigitalstrategy and narrative intoongoing work related to theSix Strategic Priorities

To be successful in this role you will:

  • 5+ years of experience indigitalstrategyand channel management

  • Proven experience withdigitalstrategy,website architectureand crossfunctional stakeholder management

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and written communication skills

  • Strong curiosity aboutnew ideasand how things work together

  • Digital channelsdevelopment

  • Understandingoftheimportanceofstorytelling

  • Strong project leadership and crossfunctional collaboration

  • Ability to simplify complexideasinto clear, compelling frameworks
