Process Technician IV

Our site in Chaska is seeking aProcess Technician IVto join our team

As a Lead Machining Process Technician, you play a critical role in enabling Entegris to drive the Future of Innovation. In this position, you will lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of machining processes for a variety of engineered materials. You will provide technicalexpertiseto both Manufacturing and Engineering teams by implementing process changes, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), andoptimizingexisting product and process lines. This role also requires active participation in Entegris' safety culture and a strong commitment to our PACE values.

This position willmainly work1stshift hours (8am-4pm) but there will be timeswhenthe hours will need to flex based on project and production demands

WhatYou'llDo:

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, andcross functionalteams to develop, document, and enhance product manufacturability, including prototyping, fixture and design development, CNC programming for manufacturability, andoptimizingwork celllayout.
• Ensures product is consistent with established specifications. Escalatesqualityissues as appropriate.Ensureshighestpossible productquality and adherence to the Entegris quality system,ISOand/or other standards.
• Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality.Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 5s, Kaizen events, etc.
• Assistsin training manufacturing personnel in the operation of new and existing equipment and processes.Assistsmanufacturing in resolving problems or concerns that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Completes miscellaneoustasksassigned in support oflargerorganization and production goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.Wear required Personal Protective Equipment.Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures.Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.

What We Seek:

• Vocational education in machining or equivalent education
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum5years ofwork-relatedexperience,preferablywith machiningPlastics.
• Ability toset up andoperate manufacturing equipment, such as CNCMills, CNC Lathesand manual mills and lathes, and various equipment
• Ability to programCNC lathes with live tooling and CNC mills with 3-5 axisat the machine and offline.
• CADand CAMproficiency.Mastercam and Solidworks preferred.
• Familiarity withMazakCNC controls, Mazatrolexperience preferred.
• Understanding of basicSPCcontrol tools
• Ability to adapt to work environment, work force and customers' needs.
• Computer literacy- Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and other applications
• Good visual ability to detect quality defects.

• Compensation: $35-$45 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
