Under supervision, the College Aide will perform professional analytical and administrative work of moderate difficulty and will assist the ACCO/Purchasing management and ACCO Central in managing and registering procurements of various forms and office operations, in accordance with the New York City Charter and Procurement Policy Board Rules, and in compliance with Local, Federal and State procurement requirements. Assists management and supervisors with implementing and coordination of various initiatives, including the Mayor's and Mayor Office of Contract Services (MOCS) initiative of increasing participation and goals of Minority Women Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) in agency contracts. Work on procurements, and all related documentation and administrative actions, from inception to registration. Utilizes various citywide systems, including PASSPort and Financial Management System (FMS) to process procurements of M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchasing method, mini bids, micro purchases. Assists with management of correspondence, with coordinating and preparing responses to inquiries and FOILs. Attend meetings and interact actively with project managers, fiscal officers, budget and fiscal teams. Assist with storing and archiving documentation in electronic folders or hard-copy folders. Performs other equivalent tasks. Minimum Qualifications For Assignment Level I: Preferred Skills High proficiency in Microsoft Office written/oral communication skills.
