About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Architect IT (with Automation and AI Integration) to join us. We are seeking a hands-on-the-keyboard AWS Architect that can help our small infrastructure services and cloud teams architect solutions while providing innovation leveraging AWS Bedrock AI LLMs to automate day-to-day tasks to reduce the overall workload on the team freeing them up to work at a higher level. The Automation and AI Integration Expert drives the modernization and efficiency of the platform. This role focuses on building and implementing advanced automation frameworks to enable self-service resource provisioning on cloud platforms. This expert will also develop strategies to embed automation within existing workflows, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition for technical teams. On the AI front, this role spearheads key initiatives, including the development of platforms for deploying AI-based applications, the creation of LLM-based solutions, and the integration of AI tools to enhance processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Leading the design, build, and implementation of automation frameworks for self-service resource provisioning on cloud platforms.
  • Developing and executing strategies to integrate complex automation solutions into existing operational workflows.
  • Spearheading key AI initiatives, including the development and successful deployment of LLM-based chatbots for password resets, monitoring, and responding to alerts.
  • Leading the development of a scalable, centralized platform for deploying new AI-based applications. E. Guiding the creation and management of ephemeral sandbox environments to provide flexible, on-demand development spaces for agencies.
  • Actively identifying and evaluating opportunities to integrate AI tools and agent-based solutions to enhance and automate program processes.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure automation and AI strategies align with business objectives and technical roadmaps.


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, technology, or a related technical discipline; a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • The candidate must have at least eight (8) years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated track record of leading platform modernization, automation, or AI-focused projects.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a technical lead or senior architect role focusing on AWS cloud automation and/or AI integration.
  • Proven experience designing and building automation frameworks for self-service provisioning in a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience leading the development and deployment of AI-based applications, including LLM-based chatbots and AI agent solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience developing or architecting platforms for deploying and managing AI applications.

Background Requirements: Must be able to successfully complete a required fingerprint background investigation.
