Franklin Precision Castings is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finisher to join our team. The Finisher plays a crucial role in the final stages of production, ensuring that products meet quality standards before they reach our customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. Duties Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Operate grinding machinery and hand belt grinders Manage drill press operations and cut-off saw tasks Utilize a water blaster to effectively remove ceramic Assist with pouring molten metal as needed Conduct thorough parts inspections to ensure quality standards are met Operate finishing equipment and tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and productivity. Report any defects or issues to supervisors promptly for resolution. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a finishing role or similar position is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify imperfections in products. Basic knowledge of finishing techniques and materials is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Willing to learn new skills and techniques related to finishing processes.
