Our client is searching for an IT Security Engineer for remote temp-to-perm position. *All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on W2 basis during the contract period* Duties * Designing, implementing, and maintaining network security infrastructure * Securing enterprise systems * Supporting branch and data center environments Firewall Duties: * Configuration and monitoring of firewalls and perimeter defenses * Network segmentation and secure connectivity between branches * Supporting VPN Connectivity * Monitoring and responding to security incidents * Assisting with audits, compliance, and regulatory controls Background: * Enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA / Palo Alto / Fortinet class) * Network routing and switching * Active Directory security integration * Branch network architecture * Incident response and troubleshooting Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
