• Experience operating overhead crane and mag drill.
• Experience using roto chocks and shims.
• Ability to understand and effectively use the laser alignment system.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience required.
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities.

• Select and verify the correct motor for the job for the PID.
• Mount, align, and mark the motor for mounting to the motor bed.
• Drill mounting holes for the motor.
• Use a laser alignment system for shaft-to-shaft alignment.
• Use of roto chocks or shims as necessary for each job to achieve factory tolerance.
• Report any issues to the supervisor on duty.
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
