Work with the technical aspects of designing and digital process for fabrication of Orthotics and/or Prosthetic devices.



Your Impact

    Oversee digital processes (scanning and designing) to fabricate orthotic and/or prosthetic devices
  • Utilize computer design processes to generate digital files for manufacturing
  • Enforce required quality and productivity standards to lead the CDC team
  • Contact clinicians and fabrication centers to resolve technical issues on designs or modification used in fabrication
  • Direct and assist training of Design technicians in all aspects of design process & quality standards
  • Facilitate communication with clinicians on technical issues to ensure expectations are met and resolve any issues to promote excellent service
  • Ensure all Computer Design Center (CDC) employees understand expectations for service and design protocols
  • Drive continuous cross training to promote flexibility among the entire CDC team
  • Provide employees with all necessary resources and direct feedback so they can fully achieve the expectations of their position
  • Assist, direct, and set goals in the organization to improve efficiency and enforce quality and operational standards


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience; or
  • High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of five years' of related experience

  • Technical ability with computer design programs to manipulate shapes for defined outcome

  • Strong general knowledge of computer systems, work flows for digital files and networks

  • Ability to read and understand work measurement forms

  • Effective organizational, time management and planning skills

  • Good interpersonal and verbal skills for communicating with others

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member

  • Ability to supervise Orthotics and/or Prosthetics Design technicians

  • Knowledge of Computer Design systems and best practices

  • Demonstrated competency in computer design of O&P devices
