Salary: $18-$20/ hourly Responsibilities include the daily distribution and blending of products, assisting with inventory and maintenance, assisting customers, other departments and other locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a front-end loader or forklift.
  • Operate fertilizer blending equipment and blend products according to recommended rates and procedures.
  • Responsible for inventory control and assures all products are accounted for with proper paperwork.
  • Operate a fork-lift for loading or unloading containers and pallets safely.
  • Unload inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Responsible for maintaining, repairing and/or servicing fertilizer equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Perform daily safety checks and follow a preventative maintenance program and report any issues to Location Manager.
  • Assist customers with pickup and deliveries as well as other departments and locations.
  • Collaborate with Location Manager to ensure all equipment, rolling stock, and facilities are in good working order.
  • May require assisting other locations of the company.
  • Follows Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Programs, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards, requiring utilization of appropriate safety measures
    • May be required to work at varying heights
    • Lift 51 - 70 lbs.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
