The contributions you will make: This position integrates client education initiatives with methodical event execution, requiring a proactive approach to planning and attention to detail. Creates impactful and meaningful experiences while continually seeking improvement. Responsible for assisting in the execution of all Compeer Financial events and tradeshows, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Collaborates across departments to support the identification and proposal of event opportunities, helps set goals, develops content, and manages promotion plans. Additionally, coordinates event logistics, demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills. A typical day: Event and Tradeshow Management
- Contributes to multi-year event strategy and roadmap development to support long-term organizational and brand goals.
- Partners cross-functionally to define event objectives, themes, audiences, timelines, and success metrics aligned with marketing and business priorities.
- Executes end-to-end event and tradeshow initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery and meaningful stakeholder engagement.
- Delivers exhibit and event solutions that align with marketing strategy, business objectives, and cost-optimization targets.
- Measures sales impact, engagement, lead capture, and ROI through effective use of event technologies and analytics.
- Manages exhibit and event budgets, ensuring financial accuracy, accountability, and optimization.
- Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements in collaboration with compliance teams.
- Maintains and optimizes the annual marketing events calendar to support integrated, multichannel marketing efforts.
- Supports leadership with forecasting, reporting, special initiatives, and strategic growth planning.
- Develops and implements contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to address operational challenges and disruptions.
- Conducts market and competitive research to identify emerging trends, innovations, and opportunities in event strategy.
Marketing Team Collaboration
- Actively participates in collaboration committees, contributing valuable insights and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Proactively seeks out opportunities to incorporate events with campaigns where appropriate.
- Evaluates tradeshows and event opportunities to ensure consistency with brand and campaign goals.

The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Event Planning, or another related field of study or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, coordination and execution.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- Advanced event planning experience.
- Basic understanding of contracts and Banquet Event Order's.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
- Valid driver's license.
