Position Overview: Responsible for understanding company data and advanced use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools to create, refine and publish reports, visualizations and dashboards. Acts as a liaison between users, developers and other data centric positions. Supports and maintains data warehouses and analytical environments. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BI tools and Reporting
- Collaborate with technical teams on specifications and modifications
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Provide input on the prioritization of Data Engineering projects
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies
- Partner with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Support data analysis, data mining, and analytical environments
- Provide enduser training and support on reports, dashboards and BI tools
- Manage user access and permissions for dashboards and reporting
- Monitor industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with BI software (Tableau, Apache Superset, Power BI)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and team collaboration skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Statistical Models is a plus
Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:
