Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be hybrid within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.

The Manager - Business Loan Centern (BLC) Account Management Analyst Team is responsible for oversight and administration of the account management function in the Business Loan Center, leading a team of account management analysts responsible for the ongoing monitoring and risk management of a portfolio of commercial clients within the BLC designated space. This role focuses on overseeing the account management process including ensuring a disciplined, risk-based approach leveraging trigger-based monitoring for relationships within the lower exposure segment of the portfolio and more comprehensive assessment for higher exposure segment. The responsibilities include using delegated review approval authority to decision risk rating reviews. This role works closely with other areas of the bank including but not limited to Relationship Managers, Account Management Credit Specialists (AMCS), Loan Review and Special Assets.



Responsibilities

    Lead, mentor and motivate a team of commercial account management analysts to meet performance expectations for quality, consistent, and accurate credit monitoring and risk assessment. Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, address challenges and share best practices as well as regular one-on-one meetings with employees to mentor and coach. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team, ensuring continuous professional growth and skill development.
  • Oversee workflow distribution, prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of account management activities and risk rating reviews. Provide guidance to the team on complex credit situations, risk rating decisions, resolving escalated issues and making strategic decisions.
  • Lead and oversee the credit evaluation process for account management including financial analysis, covenant compliance monitoring, and trigger monitoring. Administer process for risk rating assessments requiring further review. Using delegated review approval authority, assign risk ratings accurately and timely.
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of credit packages and risk rating assignments completed by the team, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and refine account management processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals. Identify areas for improvement in credit risk management practices and propose solutions.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate credit models, systems, reporting, and tools including trigger monitoring and reporting to assess and monitor credit risk and to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership, Relationship Managers, Special Assets team, Loan Review and Credit Specialists to ensure process effectiveness, communication and alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Participate in AQR Committee Meetings as directed.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact for BLC account management issues providing recommendations to help inform business decisions including Loan Review and Audit responses and action plans.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Management Trainees to develop credit skills and assess for future credit-related positions.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports for regulators, auditors, and stakeholders as needed.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other applicable. (Required)

Experience

7 or more years experience in commercial credit analysis, credit risk management, or a related field. (Required)

2 or more years leadership or management role. (Required)

3 or more years credit approval authority or recommendation experience. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, loan structuring and financial forecasting (Required)
  • Familiarity and knowledge of commercial bank products (Required)
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and team management skills (Required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Required)
  • In-depth knowledge of credit risk management techniques and practices (Required)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices (Required)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (Required)
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) (Required)

Pay Transparency

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $114,100.00 - $190,100.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
